Adolescent services

TCC Integrated Health & Wellness would like to give thanks to the many agencies in the community who have partnered with us in assisting youth and their families. We would also like to thank the school systems for allowing us to participate in the out of school suspension program and giving us an opportunity to educate youth and their families on how to stay drug free.  As a community we can make a difference so we are proud members of :

North Carolina Substance Abuse Prevention Providers Association, Inc., Catawba County Child Collaborative, Project Lazarus and Operation Pill Stoppers.

Treatment Services

Assessments- All treatment services begin with an evaluation to determine the needs of the individual client.  This assessment helps formulate treatment recommendations, as well as to determine the extent and severity of the problem.  This will be provided by a qualified, experienced, licensed clinician.  The assessment duration can last from one to two hours.

Regular Outpatient Services- Our regular outpatient substance use and/or behavioral health groups consist of twenty to forty hours of counseling, education and relapse prevention.

Group Therapy- Our evidence based practices include: The Matrix Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Team Building Skills, Life Skills, and  Employment Resources. We also offer gender specific treatment groups during evening hours as on option as one more way to make our patients more comforable during treatment services.

Individual and Family Counseling- We offer individual and family counseling as needed and have several counselors experienced working with individuals, families and clients who have a mental health or substance use diagnosis.

Medication Management- We offer coordination of medications with private providers as needed.

Referrals- When it is needed we have the ability to refer to inpatient substance abuse treatment, detox, and a wide range of mental health and social services.
